A Message From Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of Iowa (HTCC) COVID-19 Relief Drive
Please join us to help members of our community that have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. HTCC Board and its patron members have pledged up to $5000 in matching funds with the goal of collecting $15000.
HTCC is a place of worship for Hindus living in Central Iowa. Located on the banks of Des Moines River, 4 miles South of Madrid Township on IA-17, HTCC offers a peaceful and serene environment for Meditation and Prayers. Hinduism advocates extreme compassion for not only human beings but also for all life forms. This optimism and compassion for one another, is the bedrock of Hinduism. Two popular Sanskrit adages apt for this scenario are: "Sarve Jana Sukino Bhavanthu" and "Dharmo Rakshita Rakshitah" It means "Let all Humans be happy & healthy" and "When you protect the Dharma (righteousness), it protects you in turn".
